About me

I love the ocean and have been lucky enough to live in 6 states with only one being more than an hour or so from salt water.  It wasn't until fairly recently that I realized I was an artist despite having been compelled to make art for most of my life.  Now I joyfully draw and paint in my studio and out in the world, by myself or with others, as often as possible. Influences and inspirations include John Marin, Richard Diebenkorn, J.M.W. Turner, Pierre Bonnard, Edward Seago and Winslow Homer.  I am also a licensed architect with a small residential practice.
